These doctors and staff are very compassionate and take the time to explain their procedures and recommendations for our two elderly chihuahuas. Prices are reasonable for our finances and conveniently located in HPP.

Most caring, sweet Vet you can have. He treats my kids exactly the way I do and I love that. My cat was having a rash under his coat. His diagnosis was 100% on point. Cat healed 7 days later with what he prescribed. The office is a very calm clean place. Staff is caring and loving toward the animals.🤙🌺❤

Finally found a vet who could see my dog,, they did all necessary actions to get her well again, I appreciate all their help and very friendly workers. 🤙🤙🤙

We had a falling out with them for personal reasons and they denied our request for our pets pain meds which our pet had a history/relationship with them and they claim to be about/for pets so we don’t understand why they denied his prescription for his pain meds( he suffers with arthritis in his hips and legs) yes i get that they didn’t like how we reacted to something but our dog didn’t do ANYTHING SO WHY MAKE him suffer is beyond me and I’ve yet to figure out we also requested for his records like they told us to do to take him somewhere else and we have not heard from them yet(1 week later) we paid the no show fee and still haven’t heard anything back from them, prices would oddly drastically increase every time we took our dog to see them we would get different “quotes” from different staff and has said to us that he’s( our dog) just a dog/animal but this dog is our child and we just started feeling weird with certain staff members like we weren’t allowed to stay with our dog and one lady yanked on his leash and basically DRAGGED HIM to go where she wanted him to go instead of letting my husband do it as we know our pet better than them who I feel aren’t compassionate about just animals or just dogs and how they mean so much to some owners so yes im bummed to have had to write this long bad review but it’s how we feel as owners of our child!!

I am a long-time customer of this business. I had a 5-star experience for 5 years. But lately, the past year I've had nothing but horrible experiences . I will never go back. They constantly try to add meds that your pet doesn't need, they don't answer the phone, they don't refil your pets meds on-time and the receptionist is rude. Ever since the girl with braces left, this place has gone downhill. Update: We did express our concerns through voicemail when you closed early, didn't notify us and did not fill our pups critical prescription before closing for the weekend. You never responded to the voicemail or called me back. Clearly the issues happened AFTER that visit. Thank you for taking zero accountability.

Wonderful clinic, very kind and friendly staff. My ol lady got a brand new baby puppy, I’m on the mainland and she lives in Volcano, right on the line of Pahoa. The house backs up to miles of deep jungle with lava tubes and mongoose and lord knows what other harmful things to a human. let alone a baby angel puppy. Mochi, baby puppy angel, arrived without shots and vulnerable so my miss was carying him everywhere. We called Pahoa animal clinic but they had a waiting list and it was over a month at earliest but not probable. Next closest clinic was Big island Pet Care Center of Keaau. They said we needed to go to their site and explained how exactly to fill out a form that once received they would call her back. I was worried about time and wouldn’t you know it they called and said they could see Mr. Mochichi by Monday, which was one or two business days from when I called! I was advised by my little Ms that they were very thorough and efficient. Truly kind loving people. The reason for four stars is they may offer a series of helpful preventative treatments ect that you could get to help your puppy or pet. They charge for everything which is completely understandable, just make sure you go in knowing what your needs are for your pet as she left with a much heftier bill than was actually needed or expected for simple run of the mill shots to help Mochichi grow up healthy in such a unique environment. Very good place nonetheless and we appreciate the timely manner in which her pup was seen. They saved the day and put the worrying to an end. It’s like 15 min further too. Not bad at all 👏. Thank you guys!
